  • Are you an ambitious female executive looking to advance your leadership and management career? DCU is providing a €10,000 fee scholarship to the 30% Club to be used for postgraduate study in DCU Business School.

    The 30% Club is a global movement of international Chairs and CEOs who are committed to better gender balance at all levels of their organisations through voluntary actions. The movement aims to reach a 30% female gender balance on Irish boards and executive management level by 2020. DCU is committed to addressing this imbalance by offering one talented female candidate the opportunity to further their career by studying a postgraduate programme of their choice at DCU Business School.

    How to Apply

    The deadline for applications for the 30% Club/DCU Scholarship is Thursday, 24th May 2018 at 12 noon.

    Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements for their programme of interest and are advised to check the requirements at dcu.ie/courses

    An applicant must submit the following:
    - A curriculum vitae, which sets out qualifications and work experience (the CV should be limited to three pages).
    - A letter of application which outlines why the applicant should be considered for the scholarship (word limit = 750 words). The letter should indicate which postgraduate programme offered by DCU Business School interests the applicant.

  • Dublin City University and UrbanVolt are seeking motivated students with an innovative and entrepreneurial mind set to apply for the 2018/19 UrbanVolt Master’s Scholarship programme at DCU. The scholarship is open to students wishing to pursue a master’s programme in Engineering, Computing or Business at DCU. The successful recipient will receive full fee support for a full-time taught master’s degree programme.

    The successful candidate will receive fee support (minimum €6,750) in order to register in DCU and undertake a full time taught master’s programme in either Engineering, Computing or Business in 2018/19. If you are smart, curious, energetic, people-focused and interested in furthering your career and growing yourself, this is the scholarship programme for you.

  • Family and friends of the late John Thompson and Dublin City University Business School are welcoming applications for the 2018 John Thompson Scholarship. The bursary offers full fees for a graduate taking DCU’s full-time MSc in Digital Marketing.

    Entry Requirements

    Graduates of all higher education institutions in Ireland are eligible to apply. Applicants should hold a First Class Honours (1.1) Degree in a business or a related discipline and should demonstrate a keen interest in and understanding of marketing, business, and media.

    To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the academic and other entry requirements of the respective DCU MSc Digital Marketing.

    How to Apply
    Applicants that meet the above entry requirements should submit:

    - A CV
    - A statement of motivation and suitability for the scholarship (maximum of 250 words)
    - A copy of their academic transcript/proof of final degree award

    Submissions should be sent to the Group Head for Marketing at DCU Business School, Dr John Connolly via email at john.connolly@dcu.ie no later than 5.00pm on 27th June 2018. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of their application and interview.

  • The GPA and DCU Business School are delighted to announce the continuation of its enhanced scholarship programme. This year there will be:
    - Two scholarships on DCU Business School Executive MBA programme that will be jointly funded by DCU Business School and the GPA
    - Two enhanced scholarships on any of the full-time DCU Business School Masters Programmes that will be co-funded by DCU Business School (€1000), GPA (€1000)

    MBA Scholarships

    The DCU MBA programme is aimed at established and mid-career business professionals and technical and engineering specialists who want to make the transition to senior management positions. Participants are typically drawn from a variety of industry sectors, including financial services, manufacturing and technology, as well as the public and not-for-profit sectors. All candidates will be required to submit CV and a personal statement of why they want to apply for the programme, how it will help them and what they can bring to the programme and to the business school.
     

    Applications should be emailed to Caroline Enright, Senior Communications Officer at DCU Business School at caroline.enright@dcu.ie with the subject marked 'GPA DCU Scholarship Application.' This email should have a personal statement attached, which should be no more than one A4 page in length. It should outline why the applicant is interested in applying for this programme, what they believe they will gain from the programme and what skills and attributes they can bring to a masters classroom. Applicants should also enclose their CV. The deadline for this scholarship is June 28th 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.

    MBA Candidates entry criteria:
    - A primary degree at second class honours level or higher or an equivalent professional qualification
    - At least 3 years relevant managerial experience
    - We may, in some instances, require the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
    - All candidates must have an adequate standard of mathematical and statistical ability

    Part Funded Scholarships available in:
    Business Management, Business Strategy, Digital Marketing, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Electronic Commerce, Cloud Computing and Commerce. To check the entry requirements for these programmes, please visit dcu.ie/courses

    Successful scholarship applicants for full-time masters programmes will have to pay €3,800 in September and €2,200 in January (this is apart from the amounts being paid by the School and GPA as total fees are c €8,000).

  • DCU Business School in partnership with the Women’s Gaelic Players Association (WGPA) are pleased to announce a scholarship on a full time Business School Master’s programme for the academic year 2018/2019. This Scholarship will be funded jointly by DCU Business School and Women’s Gaelic Players Association (WGPA). We are now inviting applications from WGPA members, for this part-funded scholarship in any of the following Masters programmes commencing September 2018: Business (Management), Business (Strategy), Digital Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, and Electronic Commerce (Business).


    Application Process:
    Applicants must meet the criteria for the programme they select. Full details of the programmes and the entry criteria for each can be checked at http://business.dcu.ie/postgraduate-full-time/courses.

    Applicants should send an email applying for a scholarship place and stating the programme that they are interested in applying for. This email should have a CV and a personal statement attached. The personal statement should be no more than one A4 page in length.     If selected, applicants may also be required to take part in an entry interview with the DCU Business School. Your application and entry criteria will be assessed by the DCU Business School, not the WGPA.
